ACA is a community school.  We believe that education should not be confined to the walls of our school and administered by our staff in isolation. We live in the world where building alliances, partnerships, and relationships are essential to your success. As a result, ACA is passionate about not just being located in the northwest valley but being the community.

Did you know?

  • ACA junior high students have adopted a street on Bell Road and Bullard? Stay tuned for more details!
  • The Sundancers donated over $1,600 this month to ACA students to support bus rentals for college visits and the assist students with the ASU Sustainability Academy tuition?
  • Mutual of Omaha Bank sponsors our junior high science class, providing $2,000 a year for equipment and supplies?
  • For just $10 you can donate an item to support ACA clubs? Support my club will purchase the item you would like to donate and deliver it to the school at no charge to ACA! Check it out at
  • You can donate up to $400 a year for a married couple, and $250 for single and the state will refund your money when you file your taxes as a “tax credit”?
  • Surprise Rotary sponsors an “interact club” at ACA and provides scholarships, pays for students to the annual Rotary leadership camp, and selects a ACA teachers as “teacher of the year” giving them $500.
  • High school students from the capital scholars program went before the Surprise City Council this month to present initiatives that they would like to see implemented in Surprise such as a traveling library, donuts with police, and other arts projects. The city council was very receptive and wanted to help them implement their ideas! ACA students are creating positive change in their community!

As your employer or consider sponsoring a classroom! For $2000 a year, employers or individuals can select a grade, club, or subject to sponsor and we will put their name on the wall as the classroom sponsor and put on our website.
