Recently, Arizona Charter Academy in Surprise launched a new music program. Rachael Crossman, Elementary Music Teacher at ACA school, began teaching the new program this fall with general music for every second, third and fourth grader in the school. The sixth graders get to do a world music class, and the sixth through eighth graders have the option to do show choir as an elective.

Crossman’s resume is quite extraordinary—the Certified Music Educator earned her Master of Music in Vocal Performance and an Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy from New York University.
And in February of this year, she won first place in the NATS Valley of the Sun Chapter, Classical Voice Competition in the “Adult Men and Women’s Category.”
